Rachael Young

Rachael is an outgoing, certified speech and language pathologist . She received her Master of Science in speech language pathology at Saint Mary’s College. She holds a Speech-Language Pathology California license and a certification of clinical competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP).

She has clinical experience in a variety of settings including preschools, elementary schools, on-campus clinics, skilled nursing facilities, acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities and private practice. She made the journey from Indiana to Los Angles to complete her Clinical Fellowship year with Los Angles Unified School District. She was fortunate to work with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
Rachael has treated and evaluated individuals with developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, stuttering, traumatic brain injuries, and hearing impairments.

Rachael enjoys creating relationships with both her clients and their family. She believes in a patient centered approach and collaborating with family members and professionals for a successful prognosis.
