Christine Cleveland

Christine Cleveland M.S. CCC-SLP recently moved to the Beach Cities area from Colorado Springs, CO. She holds a clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA) and a California State license as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. Being born and raised in the Chicago area, Christine earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, and her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Illinois University.

Christine has a wide variety of experience in her young career. She worked with school-age children in a school setting. She has supported patients at a Skilled Nursing Facility who were admitted for both short and long-term care. Christine gained a plethora of experience with various AAC systems/programs while working at a life-skills building program for children with Autism. She focused on improving the functional communication skills of these young adults out in the community. Christine also has experience working at an outpatient hospital setting, where she focused on increasing functional communication skills and cognitive-linguistic skills for adults with speech and language disorders secondary to strokes, neurological diseases, and Traumatic Brain Injury. Christine has additional experience working with clients with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, dyfluency/ stuttering disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, executive functioning disorders, and swallowing disorders. Since moving to Redondo Beach, Christine is eager to share her excitement and passion with others. She loves the Beach Cities area and enjoys going to the pier with her husband and exploring California, but looks forward to visits to Chicago to see her family and long-time friends.
