Edika Onubah

Edika Onubah holds an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) and a Speech-Language Pathology California state license. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and a Masters of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

As a student clinician, Edika serviced clients within the following clinical domains: audiology, voice disorders, accent modification and literacy, pediatric language disorders, speech sound disorders and motor speech disorders, neurological communication disorders, aural rehabilitation, and fluency disorders. She successfully completed clinical externships with a District of Columbia Public School and Early Stages District of Columbia Public Schools assessment center. She completed her clinical fellowship at a pediatric therapy center where she administered diagnostic testing procedures, planned, and provided individual therapy to clients presenting with a range of speech and language disorders and concomitant disorders. Currently, Edika works part time for Beach Cities Speech Therapy and full time with elementary and middle school students in the public school setting. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and challenging herself professionally and personally through new experiences and reading.
