Alex Maki

Alex Maki is a Speech-Language Pathologist who was born and raised in Southern California. He is currently pursuing his clinical fellowship through both the school district and with BCST. Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Psychology and Human Development, he obtained his Maters of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach.

Alex was a part of various on-campus clinics, such as Phonology, Culturally and Linguistically Different, Fluency, and Child Language. His work there involved the assessment and treatment of both children and adult populations. Additionally, Alex has over 4 years of experience working in one-on- one, at home settings providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a Lead Instructor. His ABA
experience has provided him with strong behavioral knowledge and intensive, early intervention practices particularly with the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) population.

Alex is a professional, enthusiastic therapist who strives to tap into his client’s strengths and motivations, as well as work closely with their families. His passion and dedication make him a great member to the BCST team!
