Layla Olive

Layla Olive CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) and a Speech-Language Pathology California state license. Originally from Ohio, she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a Masters of Sciences degree in Communication Disorders at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Layla works part time for BCST and also works at a local elementary school with students who have various disabilities (speech sound disorders, language delays, stuttering, Specific Learning Disability, autism, intellectual disability, Down’s Syndrome and social skills deficits). Layla has lived and worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California for the past 5 years and has provided therapy to infants through adults. She has experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech-language disorders including, but not limited to articulation, phonological awareness, language development, and fluency (stuttering). She most enjoys working with infants through preschool aged children with language, feeding, and developmental delays.
In her spare time, Layla loves going to the beach, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Supporting Ohio State Football (Go Buckeyes!) and traveling.
